3G/4G Wireless Solutions
In today's computer focused world being able to connect to the Internet, gain access to email, remote company databases and applications has become something we all depend on. Whether you are in the office, out of the office, or working in the field, getting and staying connected is more important than ever before.

If you don't have access to the Internet or corporate networks, business suffers or stops. Whether providing a backup to an existing Internet provider or creating portable or mobile hotspots ; 3G/4G wireless devices can insure you are connected when and where ever you wish. These types of systems should be easy to install and setup, and must provide seamless broadband Internet connectivity.

CradlePoint has a suite of 3G/4G broadband routers and mobile devices that can provide your connectivity needs for a variety of applications and environments. CradlePoint's focus is in creating technologies that solve real day-to-day problems, and embodying them in products that are simple and easy to use. CradlePoint's WiPipeTM technology delivers functionality that is critical to simplifying the mobile broadband experience, while at the same time serving the needs of the 3G/4G Mobile Broadband Operators.

One of the most useful features of CradlePoint's WiPipe technology is its Automatic Failover feature. In certain models of CradlePoint's wireless broadband products allows for automatic failover protection. This means if you have an existing Internet connection through a cable modem, DSL, TI, or fiber a CradlePoint router or adapter can be inserted into the network and be configured for failover . When a CradlePoint device senses a network disruption in service, it automatically switches (less than one minute) from the wired ISP to the 3G broadband wireless service. Once the primary ISP is restored, the router will then fail-back, switching over to the primary ISP and awaiting the next disruption. This sequence all takes place with no interruption of service to the end users.

What does it cost and what is involved when your network connection for credit card verification and processing is interrupted due to a disruption in service from a phone line, DSL, or other network connectivity? In the event the primary service for credit card transactions is disrupted the POS 3G/4G solution will automatically take over and provide a wireless network connection for credit card transactions. If the system fails the wireless card is activated and the transactions continue as normal.
